Open Stack

Hi David,
I'm trying a clone from the git.openstack.org repo as well as the github
repo, and it's going quite slowly from either location tonight but it
succeeded.

Is it possible that a network hiccup caused the connection to time out?
Maybe try the https://github.com/openstack/openstack-manuals.git location
(a mirror of the git.openstack.org location) and see if you get the same
result?
