Open Stack

There're IMO still too many changes - for example to using RabbitMQ or
> Qpid - between the distros that this will be possible.


Would it be possible to have all distros use the same set of services? This
would also cut down on the amount of conditionals.

I've been able to get a RabbitMQ-based OpenStack environment running
without having to add any special package repositories or run any special
commands. But that work is not extensive, so maybe there's a hard blocking
reason why Qpid is used for that family.
