Hi all! I emerged from the book sprint bubble and I feel like I'm still
blinking my eyes in the bright sunlight. How's everyone?

1. In review and merged this past week:
Seriously, a book in a week? Glad to check that off my bucket list! See
http://docs.openstack.org/ops/ for output and
http://openstack.booktype.pro/openstack-operations-guide/ to edit. We're
discussing next steps for this, and we had our first edit day one, both of
which please me immensely. Much gratitude and respect to the authors Tom
Fifield, Diane Fleming, Anne Gentle, Lorin Hochstein, Jonathan Proulx,
Everett Toews, and Joe Topjian. Our facilitator Adam Hyde told us we could
do it and we did.

2. High priority doc work:
We didn't do many reviews on the openstack-manuals repo until this week,
but quite a bit is moving on. We still need lots of work on grizzly docs so
convince everyone you can to pick up a doc bug or two or more.

The openstack-api-site bugs have been triaged and those are also free for
the taking.

3. Doc work going on that I know of:
We also want to split the Compute Admin manual into a Compute manual and
pull out the Volumes chapter into a separate Block Storage Admin manual.
John Griffith will log a doc bug to track this and I'm recruiting writers
and re-organizers.

4. New incoming doc requests:
I think the baremetal driver could possibly use a book of its own, similar
to the high availability standalone book. Devananda van der Veen could use
some writing assistance here but is willing to start it.

5. Doc tools updates:
The Compute Admin Manual is now using the 1.7.1 version of the Maven
clouddoc-tools plugin. We can keep moving more books over to the latest, it
requires pom.xml changes as well but you can now use the Compute Admin
Manual as a model. Thanks to David Cramer and Thu Doan for making this
possible.

We should have a navigation solution for
http://api.openstack.org/api-ref.html in the next week or two. They're also
moving the repo to openstack-infra.

Laura Alves has a patchset going into the doc builds that will post built
docs to docs-draft.openstack.org prior to the review to make reviews
easier. Take a look at https://review.openstack.org/#/c/22768/
