Cinder driver support matrix (see link-1 below) lists the supported features
for each storage and  in the IBM Virtualize Family (SVC) section<br>lacks support for 3 important features: Thin provisioning, Volume migration
(storage assisted) and Active -Active high availability support.</span><br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:sans-serif">In the same site
in section IBM Spectrum Virtualize volume driver (link-2 below), the functions
described above seem to be supported</span><br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:sans-serif">and explained
in more detail.</span><br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:sans-serif">Which of the two
parts is true?</span><br><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:sans-serif">Maybe the support
