openstack-nova-consoleauth/scheduler failed to start up

Also when I run "sudo su && mysql", I get this error:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using
password: YES).

We don't see this error on our controller hosts in other DCs.
