Absolutely. I happen to think that the representatives we've had on
the TC who weren't previously PTLs have provided valuable insight.

And here I was more responding to Chris's original question, "what
would it be like if we required half or more of the TC be elected
from PTLs?" What I meant to say is that I believe half or more of
the TC are already (and have always been) elected from current and
prior PTLs, so mandating that wouldn't change anything for the
better.

Certainly if Sean's follow-up suggestion of requiring *all* TC
candidates to have PTL experience were entertained, it would exclude
the sorts of valuable contributions we've had from notable non-PTL
members on the TC and I think that would be a significant loss.
