<div>I like the idea of a water buffalo, as they're working animals used in farming etc. This links nicely to the project as these animals 'do the heavy lifting', so to speak. An ox, etc. could be another appropriate mascot.</div>

<div>As discussed in the community meeting yesterday [1] the foundation wishes each project to select a mascot for the project [2][3]. The mascot needs to be appropriate (please read the links for the constraints) and in some way linked to the project. We need
to come up with a list of 3-5 options.</div>

<div>Options discussed and agreed as appropriate in the meeting yesterday:</div>
<ol>
<li>A Bull (links directly to Ansible’s mascot, although ours can be different).</li><li>A Cape Buffalo (distinctive, and reasonably close to a Bull).</li></ol>
<div>Please consider and reply with more options, explaining the link to the project so that we can all discuss the options at the next meeting to finalise our list.</div>
