Several issues have been reported when multiple ML2 drivers are deployed in scaled HA deployments. The issues surface when either side (Neutron or back-end HW/drivers) restart and resource view gets out of sync. There is no mechanism in Neutron or ML2 plugin which ensures the synchronization of the state between the front-end and back-end. The drivers either end up implementing their own solutions or they dump the issue on the operators to intervene and correct it manually. </div><div><br></div><div>We plan on utilizing Task Flow to implement the framework in ML2 plugin which can be leveraged by ML2 drivers to achieve synchronization in a simplified manner. </div><div><br></div><div>There are couple of additional items on the Sprint agenda, which are listed on the etherpad [1].
