    Thanks Randall that is what I was thinking.<br>

    But I am confused. <br>
    <br>
    When booting an instance with nova boot, I can configure a local
    file/directory to be mounted as a config drive on the instance upon
    boot. I can also provide information and commands regularly through
    the user_data<br>
    <br>
    Through Heat I can provide configuration through user_data. And I
    can also mount a config_drive.<br>
    <br>
    Where do I define what that config_drive contains? <br>

            I see that OS::Nova::Server has a config_drive property that

            What I cannot find is how this can be used. Where is the

            for the config file?<br>
            Or am I completely missing what and how this should be used?<br>
