<p>With recent introduction of programmatic annotations in requirements [1],</p>

<p>projects need to upgrade their version of pbr to work nicely with such annotations.<br>

</p>

<p>Solum's devstack gate is currently failing [2] because the version of pbr in python-mistralclient is</p>

<p>incompatible with what is required to support programmatic annotations.<br>

</p>

<p>Robert Collins (a.k.a. lifeless) was kind enough to help us diagnose this issue [3] and has submitted a patch to</p>

<p>fix requirements in the python-mistralclient [4].</p>

</p>

<p>We would really appreciate it if you can help getting this patch merged.</p>
