Good point, I admit I can't find a compelling reason for that either. Perhaps someone else can?<br>

Also, an interesting use-case comes to mind, where you can have for example an alarm for each instance, all of them named 'cpu_alarm', but with unique action per instance. You could then retrieve all these alarms at once with a proper query.<br>
