<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=windows-1252"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;">HI All,<div><br></div><div>I have a question regarding the supported platforms for the diskimage-builder tool.</div><div><br></div><div>I’ve been using Ubuntu for image generation lately, and that seems to work fine.  </div><div><br></div><div>At some point, I had hoped to run DIB on CentOS (6.4), but ran into problems when I tried this.  In particular, the default Python version included in CentOS 6.4 is 2.6.6, and it looks like DIB requires at least 2.7.  </div><div><br></div><div>Yesterday, I saw the following bug posting: </div><div><br></div><div><a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/diskimage-builder/+bug/1274785">https://bugs.launchpad.net/diskimage-builder/+bug/1274785</a></div><div><br></div><div>in which it looks like DIB may be running on CentOS 6.5.  </div><div><br></div><div>Has anyone had any luck in getting diskimage-builder to run on CentOS?  If so, is there any online documentation that explains the configuration/patches required to make this work?  </div><div><br></div><div>thanks,</div><div>Bob</div></body></html>
