I'm gearing up to continue the work of Dan Radez to build a Heat UI
in Horizon.

For those who haven't seen what Dan has done, take a look at his
blog post.
http://www.jaddog.org/2013/03/18/thermal-update/

For a start I'd like to focus on merging the basic functionality of
launching/deleting stacks, and viewing a running stack's state,
including its resources and events.

I'll most likely submit something for review that is incomplete and
disabled by default, just so I can discover what the expectations
are for getting something merged.

Looking to future development, Dan's demo included the start of a
diagram based template designer which is based on jsPlumb (

http://jsplumbtoolkit.com/).
A fully implemented designer would be quite an ambitious project, so
I'm thinking of how something could be done within a more manageable
scope. As a first step I'm hoping to implement a read-only diagram
of a running stacks resources, including their state and
dependencies.

I'll aim to be at the next Horizon IRC meeting to discuss.

cheers
