<font size=2 face="sans-serif">Dear all,</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">We are developing certain extensions
to OpenStack (patches some of which we are considering to contribute later
on), and we want to deploy them in a 'stable' environment which is currently
based on the Essex-based release of OpenStack coming with Ubuntu 12.04.1.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Is there an easy way to create a development
environment that would be compatible with this particular release (which
is not exactly Essex)? For example, we would like to use the unit-testing
framework, to make sure that our changes do not break other parts of the
code.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Would appreciate any insights/suggestions.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Thanks,</font>
