the above is not correct.

prior to you sending this email, i had already made an effort to revert 
the patch because i chose to look at the ceilometer+panko integration 
and saw a gap i'd like tested first. i encourage you to do this next 
time rather than sending: 'i didn't try it but...'. understandably you 
have limited resources and i believe no one understands this more than 
the Telemetry team.
