Focus
-----

The release team will tag the final releases for all milestone-based
projects on 22 February to coincide with the press release distributed
by the Foundation marketing staff.

Release Tasks
-------------

Liaisons for milestone-based projects should review the set of
unreleased commits from http://paste.openstack.org/show/599304/ and
decide if your project needs a second release candidate today. We
will not be releasing any more candidates after tomorrow except in
the case of serious bugs in the most recent candidates for a project.
Any unreleased patches can then go out in a patch update the week
after the PTG.

PTLs serving for the Pike cycle should review core team membership
and consider removing inactive members. Now is also a good time to
start recruiting new core reviewers, especially during the PTG
discussions.

When the patch with final release versions for the milestone projects
is prepared by the release team, PTLs and liaisons should review
it.

The release team will be meeting on Monday and Tuesday afternoon
at the PTG. Liaisons are welcome to attend and give feedback about
this cycle and future plans. See
https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/relmgt-stable-requirements-ptg-pike for
details.
