As an FYI, the "discounted rate" at the Sheraton is $185/night for a
single room.

Go on hotels.com and enter "Atlanta, GA 30303" for 20th through 24th
February and you can find plenty of hotels within walking distance for
*less* than the "discounted rate" from Sheraton.

Alternately, go on Airbnb and book apartments for a *fraction* of the
cost of any of the hotels around there:

There were 148 matching listings as of this afternoon.

One of the purposes of the PTG was to have a less expensive, less
marketing/sales-oriented event. So, it would be great to encourage the
management at your contributing company to get on the cost-savings wagon
and use a less-expensive option for lodging.
