Open Stack

Good morning, OpenStackers -

At yesterday's TC meeting, we discussed opening up a planned
leadership training at ZingTrain to the entire group, and I'd like to
make that official on the -dev list this morning.[0]

Specifics for the training along with a sign-up are on an etherpad [1]
but the tl;dr is that it will be June 28/29, with an optional day of
discussion/team reflection on the 30th (if you're flying in you should
plan on arriving on June 27th). The Foundation will be covering
training costs (which include meals during training time) but the rest
of meals and lodging and other travel expenses should be covered by
the attendee.

There are only a limited number of spaces available (as of this
morning, 6, though some tentative attendees signed up currently may
open slots later) - please only write your name on the sign-up list on
the etherpad if you know you can go. If for some reason you are signed
up but are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the list and
also ping me on IRC to let me know.

I'm so excited we can open up the training to the greater community -
do let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'd like to
extend sign-up until May 20th. At that point, I'll consider the list
on the etherpad the final list of attendees, and I'll begin to reach
out to attendees to make sure travel specifics have been worked out.
