We are proud to announce the release of Fuel 8.0, deployment and
management tool for OpenStack.

This release initroduces support for OpenStack Liberty, adds a number of
exciting new features and enhancements, fixes over 1600 bugs, and
eliminates a great deal of technical debt.

Some highlights:

- Support for multi-rack deployments with L3 routing between racks that
was first introduced in Fuel 6.0 was expanded with more automation and
validation; some key limitations of the previous implementation, such
as placing all VIPs, floating IPs, and controllers in a single rack,
have been relaxed (although controller services failover across racks
still needs extra work); node groups can now be managed via Fuel UI.

- Fuel master node now runs on CentOS 7 with Python 2.7.

- The bootstrap image used for node discovery and provisioning is now
generated when Fuel node is setup, and can be dynamically rebuilt to
include additional drivers. This unifies the kernel version from
discovery to a working install, removing a whole host of possible
  compatibility issues

- As another small step towards enabling life cycle management, a
limited set of cloud configuration parameters can now be changed after
deployment. This includes changing configuration of OpenStack services
and installation of additional software via plugins.
