hi,

we tap-as-a-service project had a plan to make a release compatible with mitaka.
however,
- it's a bit late for mitaka already
- the reference implementation needs to be adapted to l2 agent
extension but no much progress yet

so, a question is, if we still want to make a release for mitaka,
or it's better for the project to re-target to newton.
how do you think?

note: this topic was briefly discussed in the recent weekly meetings
but moved to ML due to the lack of quorum.

note: networking-midonet still wants to have the taas functionality for mitaka.
but it involves a non-trivial change in taas. [1]
