As far, the following cases are failed due to the SSH issue in our test.

5.{0} tempest.api.compute.servers.test_server_actions.ServerActionsTestJSON.test_reboot_server_hard [347.755125s] ... FAILED
6.{0} tempest.api.compute.servers.test_server_actions.ServerActionsTestJSON.test_rebuild_server [403.213353s] ... FAILED
7.{0} tempest.api.compute.volumes.test_attach_volume.AttachVolumeTestJSON.test_attach_detach_volume [380.048291s] ... FAILED
PS. our nova version is 2014.1.3, the test-file is download from the official sit with the command "wget "https://refstack.openstack.org/api/v1/guidelines/2015.07/tests?target=platform&type=required&alias=false&flag=false" -O 2015.07-test-list.txt".

This is ssh timeout issue happened. I saw many other bugs also related to ssh timeout. There are many other tests doing ssh, all those are passing? And does this tests fail consistently ? (As this tests is not failing on gate)

I will suggest to log this as qa bug and provide more log information if possible –https://bugs.launchpad.net/tempest

Hello~ Anyone would concern:

We are running the API tests on our cloud with the refstack-client tool. We have prepared the prerequisites required by the official guide. 

However, the results reported the “tempest.lib.common.ssh AuthenticationException: Authentication failed.” error and the test for “tempest.api.compute.servers.test_create_server.ServersTestJSON.test_host_name_is_same_as_server_name” Failed.

We have googled this problem but no useful solutions are found. Would anyone pay attention on our problem and give some advices to solve the error ?

My openstack is Icehouse version,

#nova-manage version

2014.1.3

The official refstack-client guide we refer to is https://github.com/openstack/refstack-client.
