Hi All-

The Astara team is pleased to announce the availability of the Astara
Liberty release. You can find a list of closed bugs, implemented
blueprints and release tarballs on launchpad at
https://launchpad.net/astara/+milestone/7.0.0. We are proud of what we've
accomplished this release and look forward to another productive run during
the Mitaka cycle.

Our stable/liberty branches have been created and any critical bugs
discovered should be filed at http://bugs.launchpad.net/astara and brought
to developers attention with a 'backport-potential' tag.

It's worth noting here that we are in the process of renaming the project
from Akanda to Astara. We are about halfway there at the moment, with
package names updated, console scripts and some code updated, but we
haven't completely renamed the code repositories. We hope to get this
completed when we return from Tokyo and apologize in advance for any
confusion in the meantime.

Thanks and we hope to see many of you in Tokyo,
Adam
