Hi,

Following is the subteam report for Ironic. As usual, this is pulled

Drivers

=======

IPA (jroll/JayF/JoshNang)

---

IPA broke the gate 2/6/2015; the method IPA was using to reload partitions
apparently doesn't work in the gate, so we replaced

partprobe with partx -u $device. We should dig deeper later to see why
partprobe didn't work. -JayF

iLO (wanyen)

---

Submitted FFE request for passing flavor in capabilities to Ironic :
https://review.openstack.org/141012.
http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2015-February/056256.html

Several Ironic Kilo features including secure boot, trusted boot, local
boot support with partition image, and support of mulitple node
capabilities are depending on this feature. It also has impact on iLO
driver’s hardware property introspection feature. Code changes to support
this spec in Nova ironic virt driver is very small- only 31 lines of code
(including comments) in nova/virt/ironic/patcher.py, and 22 lines of code
in test_patcher.py.

Still need review and approval for several specs (iLO node cleaning and
zapping specs, secure boot management interface, RAID driver interface,
in-band RAID configuration, get/set boot mode management interface, per
driver sensors, iLO health metrics)

iRMC (naohirot)

----

For the mid cycle sprint in S.F. this week, iRMC management driver code and
iRMC deploy driver spec are ready for core team's review and approval.

Toward kilo-3, iRMC deploy driver code is solicited for core team's review,
and currently good progress in testing the code.

Until next week,
--ruby

Apologies. Due to a technical glitch, reports for the previous 2 weeks are
unavailable.
