Yeah, we are running it on RHEL6.5 and it seems to just work. Haven't tried CentOS 6.5 specifically but should work the same.

Subject: [openstack-dev] [diskimage-builder]
I have a question regarding the supported platforms for the diskimage-builder tool.
I’ve been using Ubuntu for image generation lately, and that seems to work fine.
At some point, I had hoped to run DIB on CentOS (6.4), but ran into problems when I tried this. In particular, the default Python version included in CentOS 6.4 is 2.6.6, and it looks like DIB requires at least 2.7.
Yesterday, I saw the following bug posting:
in which it looks like DIB may be running on CentOS 6.5.
Has anyone had any luck in getting diskimage-builder to run on CentOS? If so, is there any online documentation that explains the configuration/patches required to make this work?
