What's the reason for calling them the "Ceilometer module" and "Heat module" rather than just dropping the trademarked term ("OpenStack") and calling them the "Telemetry Service" and the "Orchestration Service"? I assume you are extrapolating to use "module" based on the verbage in the by law but it seems heavy handed given the aim seems to be getting rid of the trademarks (that and the fact that I haven't seen us use "module" in relation to project names anywhere at all previously regardless of core v integrated v incubating status). It also seems premature as I also can't find mention of the two names proposed anywhere in the logs of the TC meeting.

I note from that by law that "The Secretary shall maintain a list of the modules in the Core OpenStack Project which shall be posted on the Foundation’s website.". What's the link to that, because http://www.openstack.org/software/openstack-shared-services/ refers to the Telemetry Service and Orchestration service. I was under the understanding the Wiki page at https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Programs wasn't authoritative as far as reflecting the boards opinion but if neither of these are the right one, where is it?

Basically I'd like to ensure that there is consensus on the "new" names to use across the community rather that jumping to change them and then have to do it again later.

Thanks,

Steve
