I agree, and I think we probably need a thread on this subject for Nova
itself. I'm concerned about Nova consuming a complex system (instead of
a bare hypervisor).

That said, oVirt has made extensive strides towards natively consuming
OpenStack resources like Glance and Quantum. That seems like the better
architecture to me (especially given the precedent they have set).
