Over the course of the last few months, we have implemented and merged into production the option in RefStack server to disable the ability to upload refstack results as an anonymous user. In its current state, the RefStack database includes many anonymous test results that ultimately end up unused. The RefStack team is planning to trim all anonymously upload test results in current database to contain only records used in the OpenStack Powered Trademark program. We will then disable the anonymous upload capability and require all test results to be managed with user accounts. Over the next two weeks, with a target of completing the work by February 13, we will perform a staged update the RefStack server that will: * Disable anonymous uploads. * Purge the database of unlinked anonymous test results. Test results associated with RefStack accounts will be unaffected. Please reach out to myself or any of the other RefStack team members with questions or concerns. -- Megan Guiney -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... To add results to the RefStack server, you must create a public/private keypair and upload a signed public key to the RefStack Server that will be associated with your RefStack account (you can create a RefStack account with your OpenStack ID). We will soon be purging the database of all anonymous results that have not been used in reporting for the OpenStack Powered Trademark Program. If you have anonymous results that you would like to have saved, please contact me directly with a list of result IDs you would like to keep. If you can plan or ask someone from your team to present your projects, it will be more productive discussions. I am listing 2 such topic: 1. "Interop test for adds-on project": Wed 1.30 -2.00 PM Related projects are interop, heat, designate, TC. This is open discussion topic in last cycle [1] and i do not think we have final consensus for this. Let's discuss it f2f and hopefully close this one with most agreed approach. 2. "Remove Deprecated APIs tests from Tempest." Wed 2.00 - 3.00 PM Related projects are glance, cinder, keystone. This is to remove the testing of Deprecated APIs. We have been discussing this over last couple of cycle but not finished yet. I would like to get related project agreement on removing their deprecated API testing and the best way to do that. I will prepare some sample patches to hava a glance of what is going to be removed and the approach of removal. More details on those sessions can be found on QA PTG etherpad - https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/qa-rocky-ptg ..1 http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2018-January/126146.html Have a safe travel and see you all in Dublin. -gmann __________________________________________________________________________ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: OpenStack-dev-request at lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev From egle.sigler at rackspace.com Fri Feb 23 21:39:27 2018 From: egle.sigler at rackspace.com (Egle Sigler) Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2018 21:39:27 +0000 Subject: [Interop-wg] FW: [openstack-dev] [all] [QA] [interop] [keystone] [glance] [cinder] [tc] [ptg] QA Sessions for related cross projects Message-ID: <43C127F7-B572-4167-B942-405442F8F27B@rackspace.com> Thank you Rocky.
