<p>We had a good DefCore meeting (the first Scale cycle, and last of 2014) meeting today. We are starting two threads on the DefCore list: get out the vote messages for this election and formalize the DefCore process for approval by the TC and Board.</p>

<p>* Strong Attendence for 1st meeting in the "Scale" Cycle<br />* Christopher MacGown appointed as co-Chair for 2015-2016<br />* Objectives set for Scale cycle include bylaws vote, process approval and Icehouse caps & sections<br />* We will work items in parallel with Icehouse review work to start in January<br />* Chairs & Foundation will make a recommendation about potential structure changes for the committee<br />* We spent a lot of time talking about how to get out the vote with action items for the Foundation<br />* Discussion of the process formalization (ran out of time) was moved to the list<br />* This was the last interactive DefCore meeting for the year</p>
